AQUAPARKS. 2006
This series of paintings inspired by stories of well-known author Haruki Murakami.
Iniside of deserted water park one can feel presense of being closely watched, presence of something irrational, like a slightly open door to the secret world. Similar to the mood in Murakami stories, the tension in my paintings gradually appeares almost by itself, without additional figurative elements.
